A technique Prince used to produce Vanity 6 on the song Nasty Girl. But I digress, back to Ashley Tisdale and her new song. On the song's hooks (the choruses), and the bridge section, they do have her actually singing, however...the producer/producers are using a heavy Pro-Tools pitch change effect on her voice to hide her off pitch vocals. The more off pitch her vocals become in certain sections of the song...the more prominent the pitch change effect gets, giving her voice a sort of keyboard sounding and artificial harmonic.
