Katie Holmes, Tom Cruise and a dozen of their closest security guards went out for lunch at Joan’s on Third in Los Angeles over the weekend.
While several Web sites have expressed concern that the two are morphing into carbon copies of each other, Holy Candy has learned that Tom and Katie are simply getting into character for their upcoming project:

The matching outfits are kinda creepy.. actually they are totally creepy!! Tom probably uses his powerful mind control to dress her in the morning.
February 3rd, 2008 at 9:47 pmnot to mention underneath the planet of the scientologists. Actually my only concern with the all-black outfits, which by the way call up images of doom and Michael Jackson lurking under an umbrella on a sunny day, is the dandruff might stand out like the distants stars. My guess is it wouldn’t be quite as romantic or subtle as the twinkling night sky.
February 3rd, 2008 at 9:59 pmWhat a creepy picture! Just imagine what Suri must have looked like that day.
February 4th, 2008 at 1:04 amScott, the church of $cientology does not recognize dandruff.
February 4th, 2008 at 3:50 amTom is wearing black because it’s slimming.
February 4th, 2008 at 4:45 amKatie is wearing black because she is mourning her single life.
That photo makes it look like she is a mannequin that he is moving around. I’ve tried to dress one of those things-it’s hard!
February 4th, 2008 at 7:54 ami think they were going to heath ledgers memorial service after lunch, but regardless they are still creepy. plus it looks like he is twisting her wrist.
February 4th, 2008 at 8:19 amI must applaud your bravery Candy.

February 4th, 2008 at 12:37 pmPerfect.
February 4th, 2008 at 3:21 pmShe looks like her battery pack needs a boost.
February 4th, 2008 at 9:46 pmHow controlling is his body language? One arm around her and the other doing that hapkido-type hold on her wrist. She looks like she’s all stiffened up doing the ‘don’t touch me’ thing.
Mmmn, yeah. Madly in love. Oooo, er.
