He looks as though he actually has no idea how much he looks like a complete wanker.

  2. Zip says:

He use to be in the late 70s music group Player. Remember the song “Baby Come Back”??? Well, that was them…and strangely…he has barely aged. Good genes, I guess???

  4. Eize says:

I take it they based Bardiem’s hairdo in No Country for Old Men on this guy.

  5. Rebecca says:

And The Most Plastic Man Ever Award goes to …
IMDB has a more realistic (? or up-to-date) photo of him.

  6. frewt says:

It seems that many ageing muso’s tend to stick with the hairdo that got them them most sex back in the day…. thing is, it looks FUCKING STUPID 25 years after the fact.

  7. Miss Mezza says:

Is it a weave or is it producted to death? Looks like if he hung upside down it wouldn’t obey gravity. Maybe he should put on a polka dot dress and head off to the prom… in 1950?

  9. scunilli says:

the hair pales next to the color coordinated glasses and shirt …

  10. helltotheno says:

i bet it doesn’t move. it IS a wonder!!

  11. martini lover says:

what else would you expect from a man who spells his name with two n’s?

  12. Bee Hind says:

Hey, a guy who matches his sunglasses and shirt can’t be all that bad.

  13. I thought that was Kate Jackson.

  14. Zip says:

Hey, give the man some much deserved respect…he is a great bassist…and I’ve never heard a negative thing about his character, which is rare for anyone in Hollywood. Plus how many people have been able to start in one field and become a major success, and then, move to another field and do the same years later??? Well, not many!!! He has done it and hats off to him!!!

  15. Granny Gump says:

His acting skills are non-existent and the band he was in was a one hit wonder. I wouldn’t call either a success.

  16. deanna says:

Ronn Moss, may I ask WTF happened to your headpiece?
I swear I thought I saw you in the same hair wonderweave but it had a chin strap. Please do not reassemble these wigs because sh*t like that happens when you do. Please take it off. Nothing but love for you baby.

  17. Zip says:

Granny Gump–That’s one more hit than you have…but check out the musicianship–those guys could play!!!

  18. Miss Mezza says:

Doodlewho, Zip and Deanna — on yas. To youse others –Hahaha, i was so taken with the hair i didn’t see the sunglass/tshirt colour combo. Yikes.

  19. Granny Gump says:

But, Zip, I’ve never held myself out to be a musician with any talent like he has. They could play — that one hit song years and years ago. Sure don’t see them popping up on the charts since then. His band is back in the days of a lot of one hit wonders who flashed on the screen and then disappeared only to show up in shopping malls and other grand openings they could get bookings at. There’s one thing I will say, tho — I have no doubt he’s probably a better musician than he is an actor because the only way to go from his acting skills is up.

  20. ubee0173 says:

    adam, prince of eternia???

  21. deanna says:

    dear granny gump,
i must agree with your observation; ronn moss cannot act to save his he version of the dorothy hamill turkey platter hairdo. but none the less, he is still hotter than a whore on nickel night. nothing but love for you ronn.

Do ytou know how much money you can make off of one hit…if it that big??? If those guys still own their song rights, they are getting paid handsomely. Unlike today…yesterday’s hits stay around…but if you hear most songs that are released in these times…the vast majority disappear and you never hear them again–and so do the artists behind them.

One hit wonders have their place in music history. People like Switch (Bobby DeBarge), Peter Brown and Foxy largely inspired the sound that made Prince famous…and yet, those people are mostly forgotten about. One hit wonders Consolidated did a self titled song…and within months, The Nine Inch Nails came out with a whole album sounding exactly like them.

I recall a group called Suicidal Tendencies–The Red Hot Chili Peppers and Korn…etc., stole their sound…and or look, and that created a new sound. And what about Gary Newman with the song cars??? He gave new wave its first real all keyboard anthem changing the sound of music. I could go on…but my point is…these people…these one hit wonders helped to shape music…not all certainly, but many–like the Sugar Hill Gang with Rapper’s Delight–the first rap song…and hit to be played on the radio.

I have personally witnessed people become famous and fall seemingly overnight…and it all seemed like it would last forever. Nothing is guaranteed and you do the best you can, with what you can, but the entertainment industry will find a way to screw you, rip you off…and blacklist you if you dare protest the raping. Don’t believe me, ask around??? Most business these days is nothing but a pyramid scheme, and the entertainment business is no different. The execs at the top of the pyramid get rich and richer while ripping off investors and music acts. When you demand you money, they just fire you, destroy your name and reputation so that you can’t get a job…and then, they hire some other acts to take your place.

You may not be a hit maker, but…I’m sure that you are a nice person…that alone is all the success you need…but the same is true for even…one hit wonders–it’ the bigger picture that counts. Just being loving is enough, for all of us!

I was just on YouTube looking for Consolidated’s first and only big hit…but I couldn’t find the tune that inspired the sound of The Nine Inch Nails…however I found this eally cool pro-female anthem they did with a girl group who unfortunately, I have never heard of…but this should have been a underground hit!!!:

    he looks like robert redford!!

  26. librarian kathleen says:

Really, he looks more like Bruce Jenner, somewhere in between the old Bruce and the new, Botox madam.
