Remember those childhood days of buying Chips Ahoy baking fresh cookies for the school fundraiser so you could go on a field trip to the Museum of Medieval Torture Instruments or some other child-friendly place?
Well, be thankful that you were only forced to peddle baked goods, rather than your mom’s goodies:
These Spanish women did what any caring mothers would do — covered their crotches in tinsel and looked as happy about it as someone who’s about to get executed — for a calendar to raise money for their kids’ rural school. Unfortunately, their children’s psychological well-being isn’t the only thing that suffered as a result: the calendar wasn’t exactly a hit, so they’re now saddled with $16,000 in publishing debt and 5,000 unwanted copies.
i Dios Mio !
It’s a shame their kids won’t be able to visit the Museum of Exploding Toilets now [INSERT MOMENT OF PROPER SYMPATHY HERE] — but at least WE can have some fun at their expense (literally)! Woo-hoo!
More calendar goodies after the jump, including an entrant in CandyKirby.com’s Most Creative Use of Shoes category…
