Live from New York — It’s ‘Late Night’ with Jimmy Fallon

When NBC executives searched for a replacement for Conan O’Brien, they wanted a comedian with the same self-deprecating sense of humor and, more importantly, hair-flopping potential.

So, naturally, they picked Jimmy Fallon.

Jimm-ay is set to take Conan’s job as host of “Late Night” in 2009. Conan, of course, will be taking over for Jay Leno, who will leave the “Tonight” show in May 2009 as part of a forced retirement, er… mutual parting of ways, so that Jay has more time to tend to his 15,034 vehicles.

Wait.  Does this mean…?

It can’t be!

Are they trying to tell me that…

THERE WILL BE NO SEQUEL?! *SOB!*

if this keeps him from making “taxi 2,” it will be worth it.
