1917 - 2008
Irvine Robbins, the co-founder of Baskin-Robbins who enjoyed making unusual flavors such as Plum Nut and ChaChaCha, has died. He was 90, confirming what I’ve always told myself: Ice cream IS good for you!
Robbins is survived by his wife, three children, five grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, clearly fertile genes, and millions of premenstrual women who’ve found comfort in a pint of his Jamoca Almond Fudge. (I know who I am, er… I mean, you know who YOU are.)
