Brain Candy: Monday Edition

Time for Sex!  Yup, I’m one of those silly ladies who’s going to drink too many cosmos and wear heels that are too high at a Sex and the City show tonight.  That’s okay, laugh at me — I’ll be too tipsy (and/or too distracted by my blisters) to care, anyway.  Cheers!

Clint Eastwood only has praise for Angelina Jolie, and his life during the prairie times. [Lainey]

Nick Hogan is the new Paris Hilton.  Only with smaller feet.  [Celebrity Smack]

Kelsey Grammer has a heart attack.  Sending good vibes his way.  [Gabby Babble]

A pregnant Jessica Alba lounging in a bikini in her pool, while the paparazzi stalk her in the bushes of her own home.  How… sweet!  [POTP]

Some candid pictures from the MTV Movie Awards.  [popbytes]

No teddy bear deserves this.  [Ayyyy!]

R.I.P Bo Diddley, arguably one of the best names of all times.  Really, I can’t stop saying it now.  Bo Diddley, Diddley, Diddley… [Seriously?  OMG}

  1. Eize says:

Speaking of the Hogans…you haven’t seen the pics of Linda Hogan with her “20 year old” beau, haven’t you? Yeah, I put the guy’s age in quotation marks for a reason.

  2. It's British Bitch says:

Eize: are we sure it’s Linda Hogan’s boyfriend? word is Brooke gets a Nixon-esque five o’clock shadow if “she” doesn’t shave three times a day.

  3. It's British Bitch says:

I see SJP is channeling tragic looker Barbaro. Tres stylish.

Dear god. That poor teddy. I believe the sexual practice of wanking on soft toys is referred to as “plushies”. VERY disturbing.

  4. Vern says:

    Brit Bit-
I saw the butterfly hat you pointed out a few posts back. THat was way more criminal than the teddy abuse!

  5. It's British Bitch says:

The butterfly hat was truly an atrocity. The masses should have been given fruit to throw to try and dislodge it from her head.

  6. Eize says:

It’s British Bitch - the source says it’s a guy young enough to be Linda’s kid, but lighting doesn’t seem to be too good on the dance floor…

  7. frewt says:

Ah I see, Linda Hogan is America’s answer to Donatella Versace but less classy (if that’s even a possibility)?

  8. It's British Bitch says:

Eize: he lacks Linda’s “jazz hands” but he’s working the shot with the glass of water.

Frewt: good call on the Donatella Versace. Hard to tell whose skin is leatherier though.

  9. Dr. L. says:

I got it! Candy, what are you doing in that crowd scene?? You scene stealer, you!

  10. Rebecca says:

I’ve just seen a Heather Mills look alike on the street… That woman gives me the creeps!

  11. Joss says:

Candy, there were a number of 16 year olds in cocktail attire and stillettos at the showing I went to of the SATC movie…I made fun of them, I must say. It was a 1:30PM showing at a small theater in an affluent, predominently Jewish suburb of Philadelphia. It was a little bit insane. It’s not as though they could go out for ACTUAL drinks after! Also, they intermittently sobbed/hysterically laughed throughout the movie…and there were about 20 of them in a nowhere-near-crowded theater…sorry about the long story–it was just so odd.

  12. Candy says:

Dr. L — Thanks for noticing! Finally, my (imaginary) big-screen debut!

Joss — That *is* a little strange. I’m also surprised the theater was fairly empty. My friend and I went to a 7 p.m. show on a Monday, and it was sold out. No groups of 16-year-olds, though. Mostly 25-35-year-olds… who intermittently sobbed/laughed hysterically.

  13. Annie says:

  14. Joss says:

Yeah, it was dead empty-I was shocked. But it was at a small theater, and it had been rather pouring…though I thought that would contribute TO the crowds, not work against them.

  15. Annie says:

Candy are you sitting next to George Will?

  16. It's British Bitch says:

Annie: great haiku, I love your avatar. I start giggling every time I see it.

Dr.L. - I was so busy sizing up SJP’s form to see if she was worth a bet in her next derby race that I totally missed the Candy in the second row.
