The Beauty of the Wild Google Chase

Have you ever gone on a wild Google chase?  You know, like you start by Googling “Pfizer stock price” and end up clicking on a link for Viagra instead, and then an ad on that site somehow lands you on a discount travel site, which naturally leads you to naked pictures of Javier Bardem?

If not, I highly recommend it.

So it was via a wild Google chase that I found myself on this fascinating site about New York socialites called Park Avenue Peerage.  Yes, that’s all it is — pictures gawking at NY socialites.  Useless and inane?  Of course.  Which is why it will surely become a regular destination for me, sort of like the online answer to Real Housewives of New York, only with more money, fewer skinny girls’ margaritas, and WAY MORE AWESOME ATTIRE:

I’d like to introduce you to my new BFF Lisa Falcone, wife of hedge-fund manager Phil Falcone.  But you may know her best from her role in David Schwimmer’s most awe-inspiring work to date, Breast Men.

What I love most about Lisa is that she’s married to a billionaire, yet is still humble and resourceful enough to fashion her S&M gladiator outfit out of a trashbag and holiday tinsel.   Way to keep it real, Lisa.

Now back to Javier, er… I mean, my Jamaican travel plans.  Yeah, that’s the ticket.

Wow what a coincidence, I just found that site the other day! Apparently Samantha Ronson, that D.J. who’s hooked up with Lindsay Lohan is from a monied family and she and her sister were featured on there.
