NEW YORK — Mere weeks after Katie Holmes’ legs were first accosted by rolled-up jeans, the infectious and unflattering trend has struck the limbs of yet another actress: Jennifer Aniston.
“It’s frightening,” says Candy Kirby, head of the ever-vigilant Celebrity Jeans Patrol. “The trend is growing at an alarming rate. It’s hard to tell who will succumb to pegged jeans next; however, based on our tracking thus far, there is a high probability that Mischa Barton will be the next victim, given her affinity for unflattering trends such as high-waisted shorts. We suspect John Travolta will likely fall prey to the ‘Boyfriend Jeans’ look, as well.”
There is, however, one benefit of this fashion epidemic: Muffin top sightings have decreased significantly since the the baggy trend has taken flight, according to Patrol reports.
These are not nearly as bad as Katie Holmes’!
They look bad but in a ‘I can’t be bothered dressing up like a decent human being so I’ll wear these old jeans and just roll them up so I don’t fall’ kinda way.
